Ray White White Plate on the Waterfront – In Conjunction with Henderson Reeves

Last Saturday, Whangarei’s waterfront was transformed into a breathtaking sea of white as over 170 guests gathered for our exclusive Ray White White Plate on the Waterfront – in conjunction with Henderson Reeves. Inspired by the elegance of Dîner en Blanc, this one-of-a-kind evening was a celebration of art, fine dining, and community – all in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) New Zealand.

The night began with champagne and canapés at the Hundertwasser Art Centre, where attendees enjoyed a private, after-hours stroll through the stunning space before ascending to the afforested rooftop beneath the golden cupola. As the sun set over the Town Basin, guests made their way to the stunning Victoria Bridge, where a sumptuous meal, masterfully prepared by Aqua Restaurant & Bar, followed. The evening continued with fine wines, music, and dancing under the stars, creating a magical atmosphere in the heart of our city.

Beyond the glamour, the event carried a powerful purpose – raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities during their national House to House appeal month. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees and supporters, we are proud to share that over $8,000 was raised locally, contributing to the $400,000+ raised by the Ray White New Zealand group to help families in need. In 2024 alone, 374 Northland families stayed at Ronald McDonald Houses for a combined 3,808 nights, making this cause especially close to our hearts.
