Ray White Whangarei Wins RateMyAgent’s 2023 Northland Agency of the Year Award

By Admin Whangarei

RateMyAgent – New Zealand’s number one reviews website – has just announced Ray White Whangarei as the winner of its 2023 Northland Real Estate Agency of the Year Award.

The nineth annual awards ceremony was held last night in Melbourne, Australia – MC’d by New Zealander, comedian, actress, and scriptwriter Melanie Bracewell – to celebrate Australia and New Zealand’s top real estate agents.

The highly anticipated RateMyAgent Agent of the Year Awards are the only awards in the industry, based primarily on customer satisfaction. They acknowledge those who have been the most consistently recommended by local New Zealand vendors.

To win means to have secured the highest satisfaction rating across the country – celebrating and recognising real estate agents and agencies that provide truly excellent client service to home buyers, and vendors.

“The Agent of the Year Awards acknowledge agents in our industry who go above and beyond for their vendors. Performance-based reviews are the qualifier towards receiving an Agent of the Year Awards. To win this means to have received the highest satisfaction rating across the country from their transactions in the 2022 calendar year. We know that every one of our winners is tremendously proud of achieving,” said RateMyAgent CEO Michael Davey.

“We congratulate the winners and nominees of 2023 and look forward to another fantastic year across our industry and the continuation of lifting the bar for a great customer experience,” continued Davey.

Ray White Whangarei & Tutukaka took home 20 awards including: Agency of the Year (Northland); Top 100 Agency of the Year (New Zealand); Agency of the Year (Hikurangi, Kamo, Kensington, Mangapai, Maungatapere, Maunu, Morningside, Onerahi, Parua Bay, Raumaunga, Regent, Tamaterau, Tikipunga and Woodhill). Ray White Whangarei agent Thomas Reil was also recognised as the Agent of the Year (Kamo), Top 5 Agent of the Year (Northland), and Top 100 Agent of the Year (New Zealand).

“Customer loyalty is deeply embedded in the culture of Ray White, and as a team, we are passionate about providing superior customer experience to every client. There are a lot of ranking systems and recognition programs that award you for your sales and other performance metrics, but very few measure performance from a customer perspective – and that is what makes this recognition so special.

‘Recognition for our commitment to customer satisfaction is an honour – it is without question the most important part of the service we provide.” Vanessa McKenzie, Director of Ray White Whangarei said

“We work for our customers – without compromise! . To be named Northland’s Agency of the Year, and to also come in at Number 7 nationally, is a true honour. At the end of the day, our agents are dedicated to delivering the very best service to their customers. That’s our biggest success.” adds Rod Parkinson, fellow Director.

RateMyAgent is used by agents who sell 80% of all property in Australia and New Zealand – and high-performing agents are determined by real reviews from those who have bought or sold a home with the agent. This means every review is tied directly to the property listing. Thus ensuring the review provided is unique to the agent and from a genuine property vendor or buyer.

RateMyAgent provides reviews, ratings and rankings for real estate agents and agencies in New Zealand. With over 28,000 verified reviews received in 2022 for New Zealand agents and agencies, RateMyAgent remains a trusted source for both the real estate industry and for prospective vendors and landlords.
