Julie Parkinson joins Ray White Whangārei as a Sales Associate, working alongside highly respected agent Joy Cullen. With a rich and varied professional and personal background, Julie brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to real estate and a genuine passion for helping people.
Julie emigrated to New Zealand at the age of 10 and immediately fell in love with Whangārei. After finishing school, she trained as a beauty therapist and had her own clinic by the age of 20. It was also in Whangārei that she met her husband, Jeremy, who was involved in Northland rugby at the time.
The couple later moved to Auckland, where they started a property valuation business while raising their young family. Julie worked as office manager, supporting the business with accounts, payroll, administration, and preparing valuation reports. After five years, they returned to Whangārei to raise their children, with Jeremy taking on the role of CEO at Northland Rugby, and Julie opening a skin clinic in Whau Valley.
A subsequent move to Kaitaia saw the family purchase a forestry business, where Julie immersed herself fully for six years. As her children left home - her daughter to university in Wellington and her son to boarding school in Auckland- Julie felt drawn back to Whangārei and embraced an exciting new chapter in her career: joining Ray White Whangārei.
Julie’s diverse experiences - from business management to client-focused industries - have honed her organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver exceptional client experiences. Known for her friendly, approachable nature and excellent communication skills, she is committed to providing a seamless, supportive, and successful real estate journey for every client.
Outside of work, Julie is a regular gym-goer and enjoys being part of the Whangārei community. Working alongside Joy Cullen, she looks forward to helping clients buy or sell with confidence, care, and expert guidance.
