Proud to call Northland home, Alex has built up a solid business in the real estate industry with a reputation as a straight shooter and an agent who is fiercely passionate about selling the benefits of living in this part of the world.

As a specialist in the rural market Alex promotes the region as a lifestyle choice.  From its economic growth potential to its geographic and cultural diversity he fully appreciates how much the region has to offer for everyone.  He specialises in anything rural, and of any size - from dairy farms to drystock, large and boutique lifestyle, and coastal farming properties.

With over 23 years of marketing and design experience, Alex’s wife Sarah is an integral part of his client service.  Together they provide a holistic marketing approach to selling properties by developing a unique PSP, or property sales plan.  This is a plan that is a collaboration between the vendor and the agent, assessing amongst other things, titles and values, motivation and timing of a sale with regards to the end game for the vendor. 

Alex, Sarah and their two children reside in Marua, Hikurangi.  Having lived in Wellington and overseas, Northland has become their region of choice because, quite frankly, they can’t see why anyone would want to live anywhere else!  

Alex has worked hard to develop solid relationships in the Whangarei region and has built up a positive reputation within the rural community.

He has sold over $80 millon of rural property in the wider Hikurangi region and has seen the growth of value and demand. 

Alex talks the talk as well as walking the walk and is committed to working within his community.  He’s involved with supporting a number of projects in the Hikurangi/Hukerenui region and is the current Chair of the Hikurangi Business Association and Hikurangi Sportshub development project.

Understanding his community and putting his clients first means Alex develops relationships to achieve results – “It’s not always about business, but understanding what motivates and drives people.”  By taking the time to listen, Alex works closely with Sarah to ensure they deliver results.  Values are important to Alex and his success is a direct result of this.  His mantra: “To be the best for others and just be a good bugger!”
