We’re Hiring: Residential Property Manager

We are seeking a dedicated full time Residential Property Manager to join our award-winning team.

This permanent, full-time role will see you working in our busy Ray White Whangarei office on Whangarei’s Hatea Loop.

Job Purpose

Our Property Managers work as part of a busy team responsible but are responsible for their own portfolio of properties and perform a variety of tasks including:

  • Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors
  • Coordination of maintenance work with contractors and sub-contractors
  • Carrying out inspections and viewings
  • The control and management of rent and rent arrears (if any)
  • Maintaining all office systems  and recording all administrative tasks, banking receipting and reconciliations
  • Supporting other staff (when required)

Personal Skills and Attributes

  • Previous property management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the Whangarei area, the Residential Tenancies Act, Healthy Homes Standards, Building Act, and the Fair Trading Act is beneficial
  • Highly motivated, organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Outstanding people skills and a high level of customer service
  • Comprehensive computer skills
  • A “can do” attitude and willingness to learn
  • A full, clean drivers license

Remuneration

Commensurate with experience.
